I gave an advertisement for marriage of my son in Tribune newspaper on 03-06-23. I got a call from Ms. Plalak(MNo. 8989119282 / 9424545023) saying that she is from Life Parter Matrimonial company and they can provide us suitable match we are looking for. She told that I have to pay registeration fee of Rs.4500/- for this. She sharea a Google Pay account number 8827098477 of Vinod Pradhan. I paid the amount and shared payment copy with her. Then she share mobile number of one profile of Ms. Arpita Sharma. When contacted, it appeared they were not interested. It was told to Ms. Palak. Thereafter, she disappeared and not came on line. When constantly was trying their number, then one Ms. Richa picked the call and told that Ms. Palak is on leave. Asked her for refund of my money when service cannot be provided, which she refused.
It appeares that it is their modus operandi to cheat people.
