I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Jeeves Consumer Services for their failure to resolve an issue with my Samsung AUE60 43″ TV, purchased from Flipkart on March 31, 2023. Along with the TV, I purchased a 3-year complete protection plan from Jeeves for ₹2502.

Nature of the Problem:
In September 2024, the TV stopped working. I contacted Jeeves support on September 29, 2024, and a complaint was opened. Technician Mohammad Tariq was assigned to the case.
On October 2, 2024, Mohammad Tariq visited my residence, opened the TV without verifying the serial number, and broke the LED screen. Subsequently, I received a request for a photo of the serial number from the back of the TV.
On October 4, 2024, I provided the Samsung brand sticker photo, which included an extra ‘V’ in the serial number not present on the invoice. Jeeves closed my complaint, citing a serial number mismatch, and directed me to Flipkart for further support.
On October 19, 2024, I provided the correct serial number photo, which matches the invoice & extended warranty contract.

Attempts to Resolve the Issue:
Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue via phone and email, Jeeves continues to open new complaints, extending the timeline by 3 days each time.
The same technician, Mohammad Tariq, is repeatedly assigned and reports a “serial number mismatch” without visiting or calling.
The email support team has confirmed multiple times that the latest photo with the serial number matches correctly, yet the issue remains unresolved.

Relief Sought: I request the Consumer Court to:

Direct Jeeves to assign a competent technician to resolve the issue without further delay.
Ensure the technician verifies the correct serial number and addresses the TV malfunction.
Provide a clear timeline for resolution and regular updates on the progress.
Compensate for the inconvenience and frustration caused due to the negligence and repeated delays by Jeeves.

This ongoing issue has caused significant inconvenience and frustration. I expect Jeeves to honor the protection plan and resolve this matter promptly.
