Text of Complaint by Subrata Mukherjee:

I have been subscribing to Tata Play over several years now with satisfactory service and excellent customer care. But to my utter surprise I felt extremely insulted to the behaviour of a customer service caller. Today (24.10.2022, Monday) I received a call from Customer Care service at around 1.25 pm advertising about the 5 daya free of cost English Movie Channels. I patiently heard but was not interested in the package. When the caller asked about the reasons for my disinterest, I explained. But she started insulting me by saying why did I not informed her about my disinterest beforehand. I apologized for ‘wasting her time’ but she continued to insult me. Today on the auspicious occasion of Diwali I felt extremely insulted. She in a way not only insulted me but also the Indian Language and Culture which I am extremely sensitively proud of.

I earnestly request the relevant authority to intervene in this matter and take extreme care about training the customer service callers to behave in appropriate manner.

I would be much interested in continuing service with Tata Play as long as Indian Language and Culture is celebrated rather than insulted.
