I am filing a complaint against an illegal loan application named Trustroot.
I did NOT apply for any loan, but the app credited approximately ₹60,000 into my bank account without my consent. After that, the app representatives started harassing me and demanding repayment with high interest.
When I questioned them and refused to pay for a loan I never applied for, they began:
1. Sending threatening and abusive messages
2. Calling me repeatedly from multiple numbers
3. Morphing my personal photos
4. Threatening to send these edited photos to my contacts and family
5. Intimidating me with fake legal threats and extortion
This is a case of unauthorized loan disbursal, extortion, criminal intimidation, financial fraud, data privacy violation, and misuse of my personal images.
I request the cyber cell to please take immediate action against this illegal loan app and stop the harassment.I am attaching screenshots of:
