Respected Sir,

I will like to introduce myself as Mrs. SHALINI BHAGAT RESIDING AT D-39, INSTITUTIONAL AREA, JANAKPURI, NEW DELHI-110058. I am doing travel business on freelance basis whenever travel agent from across the country contact me to take the tourist as escort, book the rooms or transportation for the stay and travel I will go with them as a travel coordinator and take care of other things.

On dated 24th January on the Chennai Travel Agent Mr. NAZEER AHEMED, AEROWIDE TRAVELS(P)LTD, 2ND FLOOR, SINDUR PLAZA, SUITE NO. 5, 42, MONTIETH RD, OPP. AMBASSADOR, EGMORE, CHENNAI. He has asked to arrange the rooms, transport, and meals for the trip to Jaipur-Agra-Delhi. Accordingly I booked the hotel for two nights in Jaipur, dated 25th January – 26th January at Hotel Prime and Hotel Royal View and In Agra for one night, dated 27th January at Hotel Deluxe Plaza, 3 buses, kitchen team and one innova car for which I have paid advance amount also. As per instruction by tourist agent, the tourist numbering were 140 person but actually came 170 person for which on the spot i have booked another hotel at Jaipur.

The travel agent above mentioned name said he will accompany the tour but to my surprise he did not accompany them and came only on next day that is on 26th January at Jaipur. When the travel agent came at Jaipur there was a difference of opinion between him and the tourist headed by Ms. Rithanya, NAVIGATOR OZONE PVT LTD, ANANDH BLOCK 503, NO-9, CHITRA AVENUE, CHOOLAIMEDU HIGH ROAD, CHENNAI. Due to that clash tourist vacated the rooms and left the place appropriately. In the mean time travel agent also left for Chennai without intimating me. When I contacted to the tourist representative that why she left the hotel, she told me that the travel agent did not do anything properly and was giving evasive reply. Therefore I was asked by the hotel people to pay the amount for 2 days rooms booked which came to Rs. 1,60,000 , Transport Rs. 1,00,000 and Kitchen Team Rs. 64800. I approached the travel agent to settle the amount but he didn’t paid. On that basis I was house arrested by hoteliers dated 26th January. No one is there to help me, i was aloan and helpless. I decided to give a police complaint at Jaipur and I called the police. The police enquired the hoteliers and myself and asked the hotel people to release and allow me to go at Delhi and wait for the settlement. This matter also telecast at news channel at Jaipur.

Then I returned at Delhi and contacted the travel agent to settle the amount of Rs. 326800. He replied that he can give only 60,000 not more than that.

The total amount by the travel agent should pay for the settlement of hotels at Jaipur is Rs. 1,60,000, Transport Rs. 1,00,000, Kitchen Team, Rs. 64800, other advances Rs. 40,000 and my fees Rs. 20,000.i,e Total Amount Rs. 384800. He has given advance payment to me of Rs. 1,50,000. He should pay now the balance amount of Rs. 234800.

I am only a representative of travel agent and there is no fault of mine in conducting this tour. Hence, the travel agent should pay the balance amount of Rs. 2,34,800. He should pay, if not I will put to several hardness and mental agony.

I therefore, request the respected commissioner of police to kindly enquire the matter and settle this problem. So that I will be free from all the problems. An enquiry will solve all the problems.
