On 30th August 2020, while browsing through my Instagram stories, I came across an add for bean bags by DealSaga.in. Trusting that Instagram must have done the background check before allowing a company to advertise on their “safe” platform, I went ahead and placed my order for a bean bag, costing Rs. 599/-. DealSaga.in also sent a confirmation SMS to me with a link to the product I ordered. I also went to their website, which seemed okay. However, I’m not able to open the website anymore, nor am I able to open the link they had sent to me via SMS. This is a fraudulent behavior on part of dealsaga.in and negligence on part of Instagram.
