Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally report a complaint against a loan service operating under the name Cashbus Microfinance.
I was contacted repeatedly by an agent using the phone number +234 906 365 9979 claiming to represent Cashbus Microfinance and informing me that I was eligible for a loan. Initially, I declined the offer, but the agent kept calling and eventually persuaded me to register on their application and follow certain steps.
During the process, I clearly informed the agent that I did not want to take a loan of ₦15,000. The agent stated that the amount would be upgraded and asked me to complete the registration process. After completing the required steps, the agent suddenly stopped responding to my messages.
When I later checked the application, it showed that a loan of ₦15,000 had been issued to me and that my outstanding repayment had increased to approximately ₦600,000. However, I never received any loan or transfer into my bank account.
To verify this, I printed my bank statement which clearly shows that no such amount was ever credited to my account.
I believe this is a fraudulent and deceptive practice intended to intimidate individuals into paying money they never received. I kindly request that this matter be investigated and that appropriate action be taken against the operators of this loan application.
Please let me know if any additional information or documentation is required. I can provide my bank statement and screenshots from the application as evidence.
