I am writing to file a serious complaint against one of indrive and indrive drivers and to request compensation for the inconvenience and financial loss caused due to your service.
I booked a ride booking date 24 july 2025through the inDrive app and set the fare to ₹2000 because I was running late and wanted to ensure a driver accepted quickly. I accepted a ride from a driver named Shabbir, driving a White Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R (MH47BY2055).
While I briefly stepped into the washroom, I missed a call from the driver. After that, the driver sent me a voice note using abusive and offensive language, which is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
Because of this situation:
I lost valuable time
I could not reach my destination on time
I failed to submit an important deposit for work
As a result, I incurred a penalty of ₹25,000
This loss occurred solely due to the behavior of indrive driver and the delay caused by your platform. I hold inDrive and the driver responsible for this financial damage and harassment.
I am requesting the following:
1. Strict action against the driver, including suspension from the platform.
2. Immediate compensation for my financial loss of ₹25,000.
3. A formal apology from your team for the mental harassment caused.
If I do not receive a prompt and satisfactory response, I will be left with no option but to file a complaint with the local police and take the matter to the Commercial Court for legal resolution.
I hope you will take this matter seriously and resolve it at the earliest.
