Sargam Electronics sold an extended
warranty termed as “DG Warranty” for a
window AC purchased from Sargam
Electronics store at Rajouri Garden, New Delhi.
The charge for the extended warranty was Rs
5,500/- and it is valid through 19/07/2020 to 18/7/2023.
DG Warranty is a scheme where the customer
pays for a future promise of repairs &
replacement of defective parts.
My AC has stopped Cooling on 15 May 2022
and I considered utilizing the DG Warranty by
Sargam. To my surprise and irritation, their
phone numbers mentioned on the invoice
are not functional. Further, the customer
helpline numbers +91 11 33219400 and +91
85100 66660 are on IVR. The IVR leads me to
a certain stage and then it goes blank. It
doesn’t register the complaint.
Upon visiting the store, I discovered that it
has stopped operations.
I fear that I have lost the money charged for
the DG Warranty as Sargam Electronics is
untraceable on phone, website and stores.
