Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I am writing to point your attention towards the above-noted subject. Recently I have received the bill for July 2020 – the month which is still going on and 13 days are still left.
As you can notice in the attached bill of July 2020, the amount is Rs. 4840/- which is much higher than my usual bill amount (Attached the last 3 months Bill + Bill Payment receipt from Google Pay).
I have highlighted in the May 2020 Bill, Current Months Bill Amount (A) is Rs. 613.11/-, but Total Adjustment Amount charges are Rs. 0.00/– which brings the Total Bill Amount (Rounded) to Rs. 600.00/-.
Similarly, I have highlighted in the June 2020 Bill, Current Months Bill Amount (A) is Rs. 662.52/-, but Total Adjustment Amount charges are Rs. 0.00/- which brings the Total Bill Amount (Rounded) to Rs. 660.00/-.
Therefore I have highlighted in the July 2020 Bill, Current Months Bill Amount (A) is actually Rs. 1572.52/-, but Total Adjustment Amount charges are Rs. 3278.45/– which brings the Total Bill Amount (Rounded) to Rs. 4840/-.
Please provide a valid explanation for the Total Adjustment Amount charges which has been imposed in such a way.
This concerns me a beat since lately I haven’t used any electrical appliances that could escalate high electricity consumption. I think there has been some mistake during preparation of the bill.
Therefore, I would request you to have the bill thoroughly examined against your record and rectify it as early as possible. Please find herewith enclosed the copies of last three months electricity bills and
Bill Payment receipt from Google Pay for your reference and information.Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
