Text of Complaint by Pratik Deshmukh:

Recently, I relocated, for which I contacted your support team asking them to relocate the Dish. I put in this request on Saturday (22nd Oct 2022). It’s been more than 4 days now and the dish is still not installed. Please check the following timeline when your engineer visited and did absolutely nothing.

1. 22nd Oct 2022 – Requested to relocate Tata play. I was told 2 different engineers will visit. 1 to uninstall the Dish from my previous home and the other one to install it at my new address. I was told this will be completed in 48 hours. On the same day in the evening, an engineer visited to uninstall the dish. When uninstalling your engineer found that the Dish was not installed properly. It was hard screwed to the tank. And drilling the screw could damage the tank. So I told him just to remove the Dish and keep the stand as it is. Please note, the dish was not installed well by your engineer who had first installed it some 8 years ago. For this, I contacted your help desk, informing them about the dish that was not properly installed due to which the engineer is not able to remove the stand.
2. 23rd Oct 2022 – The other engineer should have visited but nobody showed up. So I called the help desk again and I was told the engineer will visit the next day i.e 24th Oct 2022, and the time slot selected was 9 am – 12 noon.
3. 24th Oct 2022 – Nobody showed up.
4. 25th Oct 2022 – An engineer visited to install the dish in the EVENING. He came without stand. When he visited, he told me it would be harder to get the stand aloan and I could have to buy an entire set of Dish & Stand. I told him to check the availability and call me the same day. HE DIDN’t CALL.
5. 26th Oct 2022 – I called your engineer and asked if he got the stand. He said he didn’t get the stand and I’ll have to buy an entire set with Dish & Box. Right after this call, I mailed the nodalofficer (([email protected])) & mentioned all these things. After an hour or so I got a call from the nodal office, the lady there apologized for the inconvenience and told me the dish will be installed today without needing me to pay any extra amount. After a few minutes of this call, I got a call again from the local technician department. The man there again was very rude and didn’t know how to handle the customers. I tried to explain to him that the stand cannot be removed because it was previously not installed well. He, in turn, told me to bring the stand anyway, if the technician was not able to remove it he told me to remove it myself. I mean really, if your technician is not able to remove the stand how could I remove it. I didn’t want to argue with him so I hang up the phone.

I would like to request the relevant authority to intervene in this matter and take all the necessary steps.
