Respected Sir/Madam,
We wish to inform you that a big JIO tower is installed in residential area and its been operating since past 7-8 years. four person who live within 20-30 meter range of tower have been digonsed with Cancer recently (brain cancer and lung cancer) and some people are having symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, sleepless. this tower was installed without permission initially and people were not aware about the radation impact. We all our neighbours want to shift that tower into other location like, vacant space or in a less crowded area, because tower radiation directly affects to surroundings people. And this is very close to residential area and also they are established tower illegally by neglecting all rules and regulation of telecom industry. This tower is installed without taking consent from our surrounding peoples.
You know the electromagnetic radiation these emit is very dangerous rays, this carries various diseases sleep disorders, fatigue, headache, memory loss, depression, hearing problems, joint pains, skin diseases, and even cardiovascular problems.etc. Excessive exposure to ionizing radiation can damage our cells and DNA, potentially causing burns, sickness or cancer. National Cancer Institute points out that “Radio frequency energy, unlike ionizing radiation, does not cause DNA damage that can lead to cancer. Mobile phones emit radiation too but they are smaller in intensity while mobile towers generate higher intensity of radiation 24 hours.
4G towers radio base station use ionizing radiation to transmit signals and too much of exposure to ionizing radiation especially for those in the vicinity of a tower is harmful.
As per rule “DOTEL/R/2018/50382/1 Request :
We want to know that what is the limit of Radiation level of Towers in towns and villages.
there are many small towers nearby which connects to this tower. there are people leaving in range of 10-30 meter of tower so it that legal ?
what is minimum distance of two tower of a single Telecom company. because there is one more Airtel tower in range of 100 meter.
What is requirements of documents to obtain a license to establish a tower in town.
What should we do if a tower has high radiation level then what is the process to complaint against that company and where to complaint..”
So please kindly resolve this with strict action and also shift that tower installing in other location so that small children, old people, hospital patients keep safe in this place. below is the tower location.
