Sub.: complain on wrong electricity bill. Energy charges of Meter No. AE11O336

Sir,
My name is Priti Nag D/o Pinku Kanti Nag .i have the honour to inform you that my father was allotted govt. Police quater no. 20 situated /located near Police Parade Ground, Silchar and since from 2005 we are staying in the same Quarter and using the ASEB/APDCL power.
Earlier, monthly bill was sent to our D.D.O. i.e. the Superintendent of Police, Cachar, Silchar and the energy charges was deducted from our monthly pay and accordingly as per instruction the same was deposited into the Treasury through Treasury challans under proper Head of A/C which may be verified from our office. But due to change in mode of preparation/drawal of online pay bills our office discontinued deduction of the Energy charges amount from our monthly pay Bill w.e.f. July/2015.
The matter was intimated to the ASEB/APDCL Authority on time, on the other way the ASEB/APDCL discontinued to send monthly bill to our office i.e. O/O the Superintendent of Police, Cachar, Silchar. On Non-receipt of monthly bill we approached/contacted to our office personally and we were assured monthly bill will be sent to the individual Quarter through S.D.O Divison staff but all in vain.
That Sir, on 12th May/2021 after a lapse/interval of several years S.D.O Division staff furnished/served a Energy Bill amounting to Rs. 66,923/- (Rupees Sixty Six Thousands Nine Hundred Twenty Three ) only (copy enclosed), which appears to be Huge one & unbearable to pay, also which one calculating surcharges/penalty Rs. 26,748/- (Rupees Twenty six thousand seven hundred forty eight) only on my no fault, the consumer’s name is written as Deputy Project Director APHC Ltd. which is also confusing.
I therefore, request you to furnish me a fresh monthly bill mentioning the details w.e.f July/2015 to May 2021 so as to enable my father to pay/ deposit the Energy Charges at an early date excluding the penalty & surcharges where not if applicable if any imposed.
Please investigate this matter and i hope my complaint will be resolved as soon as possible.
