I have purchased a laptop from Flipkart with exchange of my old laptop. Flipkart provided me approx exchange price Rs. 8500/- and while exchanging the pick up person put the laptop hinge is broken and the exchange price dropped to 1650 but the hinge of my laptop is absolutely fine. The pick up person had no power to rectify the issue so I denied the exchange and paid the rest amount in cash. The pick up person was not a technical person he was connected over phone with a technical person, he did only asper given direction. I complained on Flipkart on 1st April 2021 as well as I put an email to the Director of Flipkart Mr. Santosh Kumar Bethala ([email protected]), received a call from customer support in this regard, they took complain, I requested them to arrange a revisit to revalue and customer support communicated me to get a solution by 5th april, suddenly I received a SMS from Flipkart “issue has been resolved” but neither I received any call, SMS, email nor anyone visited my place. I put reminder emails to Mr. Santosh Kumar Bethala but till date I didn’t get any reply or found any action in this regard. Today I again complaind on Flipkart received a call and they noted my complaint. Then I tweeted Flipkart with order id regarding the same they replied “The exchange product didn’t meet the exchange related guidelines as confirmed by the wishmaster (pick-up person) means after putting lot of complaints still they are not interested to check whether their wishmaster made anything wrong or not. I put couple of request to arrange a revisit to revalue it they didn’t send anyone. Why should I be a sufferer for their mistake? Please help.
