Dear sir
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding fraudulent activities associated with the Lightning Rupee app. I have become a victim of a scam orchestrated through this platform, and I seek your assistance in investigating and taking appropriate legal action against the perpetrators.
On 12/11/2023, I received a suspicious message via the Lightning Rupee app, prompting me to tap on a link. Upon doing so, I was redirected to a page that demanded payment, threatening to share manipulated images of mine and engage in blackmail if I failed to comply.
This is a clear violation of privacy and an attempt at extortion, and I am deeply concerned about the potential consequences if this matter is not addressed promptly.
I have attached screenshots of the messages received and the link in question for your reference. Additionally, I would be willing to provide any further information or assistance required during the investigation.
I urge your department to investigate this matter thoroughly and take the necessary legal actions against those responsible for perpetrating this fraud through the Lightning Rupee app. Your prompt attention to this issue is crucial in preventing further victimization.
