I am an 18 year old who took a part time job with sparkle enterprise. They told me to do a work from home online typing job where I had to type out 225 huge jpeg pictures into Word. I was told to sign an agreement sent through email and send my aadhar details for verification. I had not met a single person from the enterprise and had only talked to them through the phone. I had finished 40 pages. I got a call today when I was attending collage from a lawyer named . He, in a very unprofessional manner informed me that I was to pay a compensation of ₹9980 within the next 20 min for nor finishing this in a week or he would have to file a lawsuit against me. He kept pestering me into paying the money and he kept threatening me saying that if I don’t pay it I will be taken to court . He called every 5 min pestering me into paying the money. After this I got a mail from him saying that I had to either pay ₹22,670 as security deposit if I want to continue working (which I don’t) and that if I want to cancel the agreement I need to go to the court with my parents and pay a sum of 67,000. I had not received any money from the enterprise previously and I was still forced to pay ₹10,000. Now they are threatening to take me to court if I don’t pay them the other money. Please help me.
