I have booked a 3 sharing Colive property in Bangalore Nagavara area and I paid a security deposit of Rs. 3000 before I checked in. I checked in on 17th July 2022 and I vacated on 31st August 2022. I raised my notice on 3rd August 2022 well 29 days before vacating. Their sales person told me that there is a one month of notice to be served so I will not get my security deposit of Rs. 3000 back. But now surprisingly I have received a legal notice and Conciliation notice from a private court that I have to pay them a notice period charge of one month rent and locking period charges of on month rent with a legal notice fees on Rs.50000. So totally they are asking me to pay Rs. 65000. This is a complete scam. I have never asked my security deposit of Rs. 3000 back because I was genuine that I raised my notice before 29 days of vacating where as I should have raised on 1st August 2022 (31 days before vacating) for just two days I have genuinely left my deposit amount with them. But now they are claiming for more money. I came to knew that Colive is not only doing this thing to me, they are doing this to thousands of people. I wanted to take a strict action on this.
