When we bought Club Mahindra Holiday plan for one week for 25 years, Holi and Diwali were under Red Season, and thats the reason we bought the plan. After having made numerous members, they converted Holi and Diwali holidays to Purple season, asking many of the red season members to convert to purple member by paying high plan charges. This is white collared extortion by Club Mahindra, misleading their members.
I will not recommend people to buy the club Mahindra membership. Please avoid them. They are charging exuberant charges on food. The day you want to book their property, they are already booked, due to over selling of their membership.
Overall if one counts the amount of money paid to them (club membership charges + annual maintenance charges) is more than what you pay to other four to five star properties, and they are available with discounts.
