Text of Complaint by Partha Sarathi Barman:

The subject number is inoperative for more than 2 years and the consumer is a bed ridden patient for more than 10 years with hardly any sense. Yours truly being the nephew of the subscriber have been trying to close this number for past 2 years and visitednumber of Airtel stores/service centres without any luck because this bunch of people are not trained as to how an issue should be resolved.Finally one of your collection agent Apurba pramanik visited us on 12.06.2021 and collected a cheque of Rs.1210 sayingthat this is the full and final settlement for closure of the account. In fact I got a message stating reference no 313654777675987 has been registered and same will be closed in 7 working days.Now nearly one month’s time I have not received any communication regarding the closure. Should I approach TRAI or any other consumerredressal forum for immediate resolution of the problem !
