I was in need of money so; I did some search and came across this application called Circle Loan. The information which was asked during the filling of form:
Mobile number
Image of mine and some personal details
PAN card and Aadhar Card
Bank account details (account number and IFSC)
After putting the above credentials, the application was showing: Processing
I thought, after compiling my credentials the application will go for next step where the terms and conditions of the loan will be displayed, such as:
How much amount I can borrow from this application?
What will be the interest rate?
What will be the loan tenure?
And if I agree or compatible with these terms and condition then there will be a loan agreement which will be signed by me, digitally, by uploading my signature.
This is the process which is followed by almost all authenticate or legal application which provide loan or financial support to consumers.
But this application didn’t do any such thing and just after the Processing message disappeared, they credited an amount of 3780/- only, into my bank account.
After the disbursal of the loan amount 3780/-, the application was showing that now I have to pay amount 7000/- after 6 days, only.
I got very upset with very legal and genuine reason that i have to pay double in 6 days while i was not even given the opportunity whether I am agreeable with the terms of this loan or not. If the application had only shown that i was going to get 7000/-, then only, i would have disagreed and quit from the application because i needed more amount and this was very important for me to arrange the required amount of money on that day.
I was very eager and furious to talk to customer support of this application but I saw in the header section of the application this message was displaying in marquee:
Attention!! Anyone who offers a customer service phone number is fraud
So, there is no other way to communicate with the authentic person regarding this application but an email-id: rahu45well@gmail.com
I emailed them but they didn’t reply and this didn’t surprise me at all, actually this was expected after all this fraud things.
I couldn’t trust this application so, finally, i returned the amount 3780/- to the UPI-Id mentioned in the application through Google Pay application. This was the same UPI-Id for payment of amount 7000/-.
I just paid amount 3780/- (the actual amount credited to my account) in place of 7000/- (expected by the application) on the same day i.e. 12th June 2022.
This all thing happened on 12th June 2022.
I returned whatever amount was credited to my account (3780/- only) on the very same day but still the application is showing that amount 7000/- is remaining.
After only 4 days, 16th June 2022, i was getting random texts messages on WhatsApp and calls on my mobile number threatening me that if I don’t pay 7000 rupees they will circulate my Aadhar, PAN and my image to my all contacts stating that I am a fraud and loan defaulter.

One of them (caller) sent me a message and said to pay the amount 7000/- to this account:

Account holder name: Circle Loan
Actually, they are literally trying to extort money. I know, these people are not going to stop and they will try to harsh me even in worse way, so, i am registering this complaint to solve my problem and to aware others. Please, restrict these kinds of apps from violating user data and harassing their family members and friends.
Whatever I have said, I have the proof.

Bank transaction screenshot to verify the amount 3780/- credited into my account
Payment receipt of amount 3780/- done by me via Google Pay
Screenshots of threatening messages on WhatsApp
Screenshot of message sent to me mentioning account details in which I have to pay 7000/- according to them.

It is also mentioned, in the privacy policy section of the application, that:
The information that we request will be retained by our server (https://circle954.com) and used as described in this privacy policy. We are committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality and security of your personal information by complying with applicable laws. We will not share it with any third-party without the user’s permission and will be delete it completely after terminating the service with the user.
