I came across this app called Circle Loan. I just uploaded my details and completed KYC. but they processed a loan of 7000 automatically and transferred only 3780 rupees into the account. I emailed them but no reply. After 7 days I was getting random texts on WhatsApp threatening me that if I don’t pay 7000 rupees they will circulate my Aadhar and PAN to my all contacts stating that I am a fraud and loan defaulter. They are literally trying to extort money. So I paid whatever amount I received. They had the option of half payment and that guy said he will close the loan but when I paid 3360 rupees, still it was showing that 7000 remained. I asked him then he started saying pay 7000 more. Now they are continuously pinging me from different numbers and threatening me that they will send My Aadhar and PAN to my all contacts one by one. Also, That app claimed in detail that given NBFCs partnered with them MAGENTA FINANCE SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED MITRATA INCLUSIVE FINANCIAL SERVICES PVT. LTD. NEED LIVELIHOOD MICROFINANCE PRIVAT LIMITED I am not sure whether they are really partnered or not hence I dropped an email to these companies also and waiting for a reply. I am registering this complaint aware others and mainly to restrict these kinds of apps from violating user data and harassing their family members and friends.
