In Coimbatore, Cinepolis operates in Fun Republic Mall. It generally provides two categories of ticket – Elite and Economy for all the screens. The cost of Elite ranges from 150 rs to 210 rs depending on the film and Economy ranges from 60 rs to 95 rs. The issue here is Cinepolis voluntarily blocks all the economy class tickets (doesnt allow to book – both online and offline). They use economy tickets to drag the audience, and when they are about to book, it seems already booked (but no, it is blocked voluntarily and in the movie screening, those seats remain empty). If cinepolis doesnt want to provide economy tickets, they could have simply said that directly and temove economy instead of such cheap activities. I have attached the samples below where you can see that for any movie, any show, all the economy class tickets are blocked.
