Facts of the Case
That the Complainant is a lawful consumer of Airtel Xstream Fiber broadband services provided by the Opposite Party.
That since October 2025, the Complainant has been facing serious and continuous technical issues, including:
Frequent internet disconnections
Several websites not opening
That when the Complainant connects his laptop directly to the Airtel-provided Wi-Fi router, many websites do not open at all.
However, when the laptop is connected through a Wi-Fi extender installed at home, those websites do open, but:
Internet speed becomes extremely slow
Frequent disconnections continue
This clearly indicates a technical fault in the Airtel-provided router/network configuration, which the Opposite Party has failed to diagnose and rectify.
Due to unstable internet connectivity, the Complainant faces serious difficulties in online video conferencing and financial transactions, causing professional loss, inconvenience, and mental stress.
Complaint History & Negligence
That the Complainant raised complaints multiple times since October 2025, but the Opposite Party closed the complaints without resolution.
In December 2025, the Complainant raised complaints three times. On one occasion, a technician visited, falsely claimed the issue was resolved, and obtained a satisfaction code. The issue, however, remained unresolved.
Subsequently, multiple complaints were registered, including Complaint No. 11022153704 dated 26 December 2025.
Despite assurances, no technician visited, and the complaint was repeatedly closed without resolution.
On 28 December 2025 at around 6:30 PM, the Complainant received an SMS stating that the complaint was “resolved and closed”, which is false, misleading, and incorrect.
Such false closures have occurred 3–4 times within a few days, without consent, without resolution, and without site visits.
Reliefs Sought
The Complainant humbly prays that this Hon’ble Commission may be pleased to:
a) Direct the Opposite Party to permanently resolve the broadband issue forthwith
b) Direct the Opposite Party to provide stable internet service as per the 40 Mbps plan
c) Award compensation for mental harassment and inconvenience
d) Award costs of litigation
e) Pass any other order(s) as deemed fit in the interest of justice
