Booking was made to Johnson Lodge Manali for 17th April stay for 1 night reservation before 10th March. After 20 days of reservation, I got a call from makemytrip Johnson has a change of Manaagement and as they denied checkins, they will provide cancellation with full refund or other hotels.
I requested if they can talk to new management and I can get the same property. Exectuive of makemy trip said it may take 2 to 3 working days which was confirmed by me should be fine.
After 3 days, I have made multiple calls mentioning the below reasons:
1. Executive working on this case is going to call back
2. You don’t have to worry as we have arranged a call back and you will surely get a call back between 5 to 8
3. Asking for the supervisor to escalate supervisor is not available in this shift
4. What supervisor is going to say should be the same you have to wait
Fed up of this kind of a treatment where I did the prior reservations if I would have got the check in denied on the same day, wonder how they would have treated.
