In April, 2020 (I don’t remember the exact date), I think on 3rd or 4th, one lady called me from Gujarat and told me that, there is an online job that we can do from home – to fill 1000 forms within 10 days – and they will pay Rs. 34, per form, if we are achieving the target, i.e. 90% accuracy. I am a retired person, and i was searching for an online job, that without fear during this pandemic period. Then I was agreed for that and she tole me to send the copies of Aadhar. After sending the copies she sent me one agreement to sign. After the signature, i send the same back. Then she called and informed that, i will get the job after 1 or 2 hours and sent the Login id and password through the email. I started the work, immediately after 2 hours. I finished some forms on that day and when i was doing the work on the next day it was blocked and a message was showing – you did some two login, thats why it is blocked – I contacted that lady immediately and she told that there is some repairing and for that i have to pay Rs. 7200.00 and the same amount will be added in the salary, after submitting the correct forms. I sent the money and after some times, the block is removed. After two/three days, it happened again and again she told the same time, and i did the same. But, after one or two hours the money is returned to my account. After 10 days, after finishing the typing, i submitted the forms, and the message came that it will take, 24 hours to get the result. The next day, i got a mail and there it was showing that, I made mistakes in 110 forms ( as per the agreement I have to submit, 900 forms, without mistake ) and i failed. She called and told me that, if I want to start the new work, i can start, then i will get the repairing charge alongwith the salary, or if I want to quit, i have to pay, Rs. 5600/- as a compensation, immediately. I was having some urgent work at that time and i didnt sent the money. Then day before yesterday, i.e on 21st May, 2020, one person called and told me that, I broke the agreement and they were going to take actions against me and they are going to move to the court, if i am not paying the compensation. I paid the same and immediately, he called and started shouting on me and saying that, why i didnt check my email, and already the case is proceeded to the High Court of Gujarat and now I have to pay Rs. 35,750/- and they sent me the copy of FIR and started threatening by saying that, if i am delay in paying the said amount, the fine will increase. I scared and sent that amount also and I sent the screen shots to that person – he was telling that, he is the junior Advocate -. After some times, he again called and repeated the same thing, as he said before. Now the amount becomes, 1.25 lakhs. I was scared more, and transferred the same again. Again it is happened like before and they sent me the new FIR and in that the fine becomes, Rs. 19.50 lakhs. (Total I paid them Rs. 1,66,650.00). I was not having any case, before and i was aware of the proceedings. So, i thought the FIR’s are the real one. (I am attaching the same for your reference). Now, the whole day yesterday, he was calling me and asking for the amount – now after requesting the Judge, they reduced the amount to Rs. 9 lakhs and i can send the same after deducting the previous payments. I don’t know, what I have to day. Now, he will call me, tomorrow in the morning. What I have to do ?
