Hi,
This is Abhilash R Nair (DTH no 3044513766) and I had taken an Airtel black connection consisting of Broadband and DTH connection. I had received the call from your executive and I was confirmed the bill amount and various offers so i purchased the plan. Then from your side they installed the set top box and charged me 2000 rupees stating that its a airtel xtream box and I would be getting the first month free service. You might have recordings for these kindly cross check. Once the set top box was installed they did not give the broadband connection they changed their stance. I waited for one week and then spoke to airtel customer care. First it was informed that it will take some time then they told me that my area doesn’t have network feasibility. What kind of service does Airtel provide wherein they make false claims and at the end they say that we don’t have service in your area Didn’tthey check all these details before making out the commitment. I had given them my address also. I called up the customer care and told them to remove their set box also since I had opted for a combined service of Broadband and DTH and Broadband was the major requirement had asked them to refund my money which they refused. This amounts to cheating. Is Sunil Mittal asking you to cheat people of their money. I had informed the customer care executive that there will be legal ramifications but they asked me to go ahead. Today within 20 days the DTH subscription ended. Again they cheated they told me it was one month free at the time of taking the connection now they are saying it’s only for 20 days. They promised me OTT platforms will be free for one year then they reduced it to 90 days till date I was not able to use it.
I want this DTH connection to be removed and my money refunded now itself. The owner and top level management is solely responsible for all this. They will liable and I will take it to its logical conclusion.
