Hi Team,
This is an escalation email which has been related with my existing Airtel prepaid Sim card(8089228721). actually i am totally disappointed and im a drafting this email for your support.
I am a regular Airtel customer and last 5 months i was in Dubai on a visiting visa. due to the unforseen pandemic situation i was stucked there. by the grace of god i reached to india on 13th june. so i put my Airtel Sim to my phone and also i recharged for rupees 598 plan.
after two days unfortunately my sim got stopped its service due to an unexpected damage i think. i put my sim in a different phones and confirmed it was damaged. as a solution i called Airtel customer service and they advised me to reach the nearest Airtel store and collect a duplicate sim for rupees 25.
but the thing is i am not supposed to went out because my official quarantine days are just finished on that Time. as a social being i sent my mother to the Airtel store on behalf of me. but they processed a recreation request instead of duplicate sim and ask to pay 325 rupees.
so i directly approach them yesterday and asked why you peoples are doing like this. they said that they already explained all the details to my mother and she agreed to accept the same. but its too injustice because my mother is not aware with any gadgets or related services. so they can Easily mislead her.
i show my commitment to the society thats why i refuse to reach the store before. but they are showing injustice over me and they also told me that they already processed the recreation with my sim and my existing offer will also not available in the same.
actually i need the same number asap because i have to receive some important calls from police as well as health department. and also i need this number for my job search too.
if i reach the store directly then i should pay only 25 rupees and my existing 598 offer will carry forwarded. but they now ask me to redo the same offer if they recreate the sim. that means i should bear more than 1000 rupees. as a jobless guy i cannot pay the same. kindly assist me
