My Daughter Nidihi Singh got admission in University @ USA for higher studies and flight ticket for the sector Mumbai – Delhi – London – New York was booked through Ease my Trip Portal vide PNR No D7YDY5 for travel on 29/8/21 for teh Sector Mumbai – Delhi and onwards Delhi – London – NY on 30/6/21. She reached Delhi safely and being a single girl and travelliing 1st time, stayed at the Airport in the night and on morning of 30th August 21, approached the Virgin Atlantic Counter for check in process, when they informed that her ticket is not valid and she cannot board. She was in for a shock after spending close to Rs 55000 she burst into tears. She immediately contacted Ease my Trip for guidance and they informed her that the ticket is valid at 0840 hours on 30/6/21. She did not know what to do and again requested Virgin Atlantic counter who were adamant that the ticket is not valid and when she requested for endorsement so that she can claim refund, they refused to give in writing. This amounts to cheating as if the ticket is not valid, then when Virgin Atlantic authorised Ease my trip to book the tickets. She missed the flight and had to rebook for Delhi – SFO – EWR by apaying additional amount of Rs 99084/- on 31.8.21. We have been requesting for refund of 99084 for no fault of ours but no action is forthcoming. Reqeust kindly please help
