#Snapdeal fraud Snapdeal
I purchased a SoundMagic ES 18S headphone from Snapdeal. First, they send me a faulty product. The call receive button was not working on it. So I asked for a replacement the same day I received the product. Within few days they sent me a replacement. The new product worked fine for three weeks and then suddenly stopped working.
I contacted Snapdeal, they told me that they have only 7 days replacement policy and I have to directly get in touch with SoundMagic’s service centre. The customer service contact details provided by Snapdeal was incorrect.
I had to call justdial to get SoundMagic’s customer support number. When I called SoundMAgic, that guy gave me another number. When I called on that number, he gave me another number. Finally when I got through the customer service of SoundMAgic, they told me to pay additional amount to get the headphone repaired or replaced.
Moreover, I have to go to Goregaon which is like 50 KMs from my place beteen 11AM and 5 PM (Mon-FRI)
When I purchased the product from Snapdeal it was mentioned that the product comes with one year warranty. Now, why should I pay additional amount for the repair since there is no physical damage on the product.
I raised the issue with Snapdeal. They refused to help me and every time some different guy use to call me from snapdeal, I had to explain my story at least 15 times to this guys.
But, Irrespective of all that Snapdeal guys refuse to take responsibility of the product sold on their website.
I think the product they delivered were fake and hence they are not owning the responsibility.
Now, the Snapdeal guys are asking me to travel 50 KMs to the SoundMAgic’s customer support centre and take it writing from them that they will charge me.
I have asked Snapdeal to call the customer support and verify it themselves. But they refuse to cooperate.
Why the hell should I go through all this grind.
I request all my friends to stop buying from Snapdeal, if you value your time and money.
This guys stared selling fake product to improve their bottom line. Their customer service owns no responsibility. Now they r saying that I paid money to seller not Snapdeal.
