Text of Complaint by Sushma Naik:

A senior citizen Meera Naik ,aged 74 years old is using is a Vodafone number +919901937707 as add on number with ±91908956485 . She is being charged monthly post paid bill of Rupees 654/- for the month of February. Vodafone all of a sudden has activated SMS cricket updates which has not been opted by the customer . The customer uses a basic Samsung mobile which is not even a smart phone . She does not even use the internet services . But Vodafone has all of a sudden sent a bill for the services she has not opted for . 3 calls were made to the customer care number from the main number for cancellation of the services but even then the customer care agents did not care and the the services were not stopped . The customer kept continuously getting the SMS the bill kept adding up. After 5 days of the complaint again customer care  was contacted to deactivate the cricket SMS  services . The customer has requested that only rupees 250 will be paid as monthly bill as usual and then remaining amount should be adjusted in the next month’s bill . Vodafone has not got back to the customer on this. This is not fair that an senior citizen is being troubled this way . Vodafone should be taken to task for the indifferent and laid back attitude of the customer care agents . Even after several requests none of the floor supervisor or managers take the call and the agents handle the calls which is useless. I request Vodafone to act immediately and resolve the issue as soon as possible.
