Hello Team,
This incident is dated on 16th January, 2022. I did a transaction of INR 1800/- with travolook for a Flight ticket. As soon as the payment was completed, I received an email from travolook stating that my ticket is cancelled due to technical reasons and the amount will be refunded. Ever since, Travolook is just trying to avoid paying me back. Everytime I try and contact them, they postpone the commitment saying that I will receive my refund in 2-3 business days.
Please note that many of our Fellow Indians are not very technically sound. We are unable to record evidences and read the Legal script of these companies to hold them in Contempt.
These companies take advantage of this fact. We are well aware that the official handle to file a complaint against online fraud costs upto INR 500-1000 /- for transaction amounts below INR 5000 – 6000/-
They take advantage of this fact because no one would spend another 1000 bucks to recover INR 2000/-
If this appears to be a general and feeble problem to you, Please dedicate 10 minutes of your precious time on the Internet and you will be surprised to know the magnitude of people who have been victims to this scam. (Refer to the customer reviews, complaints, etc about Travolook)
I don’t consider this message as just a grievance report or a customer dissatisfaction review. It is more of an eye opener on a scam that is flourishing under our nose and duping people of huge amount of money and still they go unnoticed.
If this goes forward, I have a lot of evidences to prove their fraud.
