Text of Complaint by Swamynathan V:

I had received a message with ₹620/ as due whereas I usually get ₹235 including taxes for a plan of ₹199/ om. This is way higher amount and therefore found it unusual from my post paid connection from 2008 onwards.

I immediately called the Airtel customer care requesting them to switch back to the original plan and a service request was generated. I had explained that I have not opted for a 1599/ plan as I was not in any need for any additional facility on the second number.

The above service request was rejected and once again called their customer care to learn that it was rejected. This time they said that they cannot switch me back to ₹199/ pm plan and asked me to go for a minimum plan of ₹399/ pm. I literally coerced either accept 1599/ pm or agree for ₹399/. In spite of my telling them that this is a wrong upgradation to their benefits and that I have not requested for such high value plan at all.

Then I have written to their appellate and received a reply that they are helpless in this regard and I have to pay more than 2000/ now including late fees. This is very unfair.
