A vigilance officer visited our residence and complained about power theft / hooking. Then the services were disconnected for a week and a bill of INR 800000 was showed to us to pay and a FIR was lodged.
A few months back a decorator visited our house and made arrangement from the mains which we weren’t cognizant of. As a result we opened our house for inspection without any hesitation unaware of the electricity arrangement.
Now the sum of money as they said would be as per the average bill. By the amount demanded the amount that is consumed each month exceeds INR 50000 which is an irrelevant amount. The maximum bill that we have ever paid is INR 7000. Unless that (which is demanded) is paid for the entire year the electricity would not be restored and there is a FIR as well. We want you to intervene into the matter for the insanely hefty sum that has been demanded from us.
