On 11th July, I did a transaction for Rs 1910.62 with Tata 1mg (merchant) using Simpl BNPL. As per the offer, Simpl was offering a cashback. On 12th July, the merchant refunded Rs 17.3 towards price adjustment. When I inquired with Simpl Customer Support about my cashback, I was informed that owing to the refund I am not eligible for cashback.
I tried to explain Simpl Customer Support Team that this is an exceptional scenario where the customer has not initiated any refund. However, they are not willing to listen and are taking customers for a ride?
