I installed The cash assist loan app which i saw through instagram adds and my only intention was to check my credit limit in the application. The app during registration did not ask for any pan or adhaar details, it only asked my photo, and my bank account details, with permission to sms, contacts and call logs. When i was redirected to home page it showed that 3500 INR of the credit is used up, and after some hours INR 2,280 Is credited to my bank account. Before the money came to my account, i have read the reviews about this app in the consumer complaints website and removed my phone permissions of location, SMS, call logs, and contacts and uninstalled the loan app, now the money is credited to my bank through IMPS methods. They have my face, photo with them and chances are there that they also have my contacts, upon reading complaints about cash assist app on this website, i came to know they start calling and harassing on the 6th day from this day and they will send edited nude and vulgar photos to the contacts of the victim. I urge the Cyber department and consumer courts to do the needfull and help me from the Scam.
