I was looking for online part-time jobs when I received a call from a 3rd party person to work for EBOOKTYPER and his company name is HV Technologies. The work was to fill 7000 captchas in 7 days, and the payment was Rs 3 per captcha. The guy on the other side told me that the registration fees will be charged from my 1st payment. When they created my account and shared the website and password, and asked me to start working.

After 2 days, I couldn’t do the work because my mother was diagnosed with covid 19 positive and admitted in the hospital. So, I texted to the agent who contacted me earlier that I couldn’t be able to complete the work due to some personal reasons. He didn’t reply anything for that text message.

Exactly a week later, I received an email from advocatersjivsingh@gamil.com stating that the company has filed a complaint and asked to contact his number me pay the amount of 7550/- which was not mentioned in the agreement policy or legal document which he told through phone.Yet I did because I was kind of scared and confused at the same time. Next day I received NOC informing that I have no objection in future towards the company. Today I received an email from advocate.manoj@ahmedabadhighcourt.in
Should I reply anything or continue to ignore all the messages and mails from that company?
