Hi.
This is Mohammed Farhan Ahmed.
I was trying to book tickets on 25th June and there were multiple trips which were cancelled due to unsuccessful payment.
Around 6:45 I tried again and there was no booking confirmation or ticket details. So, I then asked my brother to book the tickets from the different account and card which was successful.
Later after 4 hours I got an email from ethihad airways around 11:30 that my tickets were confirmed. I was shocked seeing the email and I immediately called the customer service with no trip ID details. While I was on call I received the email from clear trip about the booking confirmation and the trip ID 230625782440 details around 12:17.
I explained the agent the whole scenario and he suggested me to cancel the tickets and he will escalate this issue to concern team for full refund with exceptional case, so I agreed to.
I received partial refund with multiple deductions worth around 61000 approximately.
I have also shared all the email trail timings which I have received from clear trip. I have proofs that it was not my mistake.
It’s clearly a technical issue from cleartrip which they need to take full responsibility and process the complete refund.
I have been on call with multiple agents most of them were not helpfull. They are saying it’s my mistake and not there as it’s clearly a technical issue. I am completely frustrated and mentally disturbed as I have to send my sisters and kids to India on 29th and have been on calls with you guys for more that 4 hours and also the amount deduction.
I request you take a look into this
