Text of Complaint by Harveen Kaur:

I ordered grocery from swiggy instamart on 23rd jun’23. When delivery person arrived at my address I could not pick his call because a few minutes back one of my family members met with an accident and I had to go. In the hurry, I missed to take my mobile phone with me so I could not attend his call.
When I came back I saw the message that your order is cancelled and you have been charged 100% of cancellation fee.
As soon as I saw the message I contacted Swiggy customer care service people and asked them to get my order delivered now as its fine if you cant refund the amount. But to this they said the order once cancelled can not be re-initiated and even no amount will be refunded.
This is very strange policy and they charged me 1124₹ which was my order amount. How can they charge 100% of cancellation fee and even cant resend the order requested after few minutes of delivery attempt.

The miss is also from their end as the delivery person could also have directly ring the bell of my home and have delivered order if i was not able to attend the call in which case some other memeber of my family could have received the items but there was no such attempt made by them.

This is a complete case of fraud where they neither are ready to return a single penny nor ready to resend the ordered items.
