Bus got Blasted and Burnt – Due to Short-circuit open wires causing threat of Life in Danger

Text of Complaint by Aditya Kumar Gupta:

Hi Team,

I had made one booking from Mahabaleshwar to Mumbai with Booking ID A6M7HFEG
and PNR Number 126022355 via HDFC Smart Buy powered by Redbus. My Bus no. is
MH-04-GP-2612 which got started from Mahabaleshwar on 19-09 but around 1:30 AM there some short circuit happened near the petrol tank and caught fire. Passengers got down immediately rushing to save their lives and within 3-4 mins Bus got completely into fire. There was a halt of around 2 hours and Police and Fire Brigade were called immediately. I with my wife were able to save our lives but lost our luggage on our seat during the rush. Rest of the journey we had to travel back on our own to MUmbai. My seat number is 5-6 Upper via Shankara Travels

My Luggage which got burnt with Bus.
1. Luggage Bag with Pashmina shawl Black Jacket & shirt pants – One Bag – Amount Rs. 25000
2. One Gift Bags with items brought from Mahabaleshwar along with edible items inside – Amount 3600
3. Complete Journey Ticket – Amount Rs 1400

I request you to please provide me support in getting my items refunded Rs 30000 which got completely burnt and can be checked inside the burnt bus. I am thankful to God for saving me and my wife’s life under such circumstances.
Please provide me dates and timelines for getting my refund as I need to buy clothes again and my gift items which I was carrying from Mahabaleshwar.

Please provide me with details and a refund date in this regard.
I am attaching my ticket also regarding the same.

I had spoken to Mr. Abhishek 7676035908 from HDFC SmartBuy team they are not providing any response in this regard and sent mail to CEO Mr Prakash from Redbus but I didn’t get any response from their side.

I request to provide me Rs. 30000 for my claim which is due to fault along with mental agony compensation in this regard
