This complaint is to raise awareness. I signed up for Broomees around 2 weeks ago and took their 6 monthly subscription for a cook. Things became interesting and pathetic once I paid the subscription amount. Multiple follow ups to first understand when will the cook begin despite indicate a clear start date and time. Cook arrives 2 and 10 minutes late the first day – no update, no intimation. I told her this cannot work and I have already done the cooking. She leaves the premies screaming and after arguing. Request RM to change the cook, he refuses. Second day, wait in vain – cook doesn’t turn up. Replacement cook assigned. At this point, I refused to continue with service. For anyone considering Broomees, please bear in mind:
1. There no questions asked free x replacements – only in paper. They resist replacement and RM will argue.
2. Cooks – only have ‘basic North Indian cooking skills’ – which means anything elaborate or other than North Indian, is not possible.
3. RM and subscription facilities – useless and waste of money and time.
At no point will your subscription be refunded. So please go for your local bai, cook – DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.
