I ordered 2kg Isopure dutch chocolate protein for my bedridden father for INR7,999 from Amazon on May 10, 2023.
The product I received was supposed to have 3 levels of seals apart from Amazon’s packaging. The first and the last seal were broken. The middle one, which was a black tape on the lid of the jar was intact. The last seal, which involves a tamper-proof paper lid was already torn.
I can’t verify the authenticity of this product because the broken seal was deliberately concealed using the black tape on the lid of the jar. I can’t trust the contents of the box, nor the expiry date on the box as the contents may have been replaced with duplicate protein.
For all I know, this could be poison for my dad. I can’t feed this protein to my ailing father.
As such, I placed another order for Isopure protein while the investigation was underway, from another seller, who is the official seller of Isopure protein in India by spending another ~4,500 on a 1kg pack.
Amazon took 4 days to investigate the matter. When I reached out to them at the end of this investigation period, the customer support agent was dismissive of the complaint.
