Hello,
I am sending this email due to an ongoing issue that I have been having with the broadband service I had gotten installed around a month ago.
I previously had a functioning, decent WiFi connection from a different company and switched over to Airtel due to the reputation of your company and the service that would be included with the premium in price. I have been having issues since the first day that this connection was installed due to several reasons.
1. The connection speed that I have purchased with this connection is 100Mbps and an attached image below shows you that is definitely not the case when the speed is tested. I am getting a speed that is over 20 times lower than promised. Additionally, I am lucky I am even getting this speed at the moment, as there have been times where the speed dips to around 1 or 2 mbps. Atrocious service.
2. The engineer that I have been in touch with has been helpful, however, as of late has been ignoring me and is unable to solve this issue. He had gotten the entire wire changed that the connection stemmed from and still there is no relief. He claims he knows how to fix the issue but if he does not respond to me, naturally he cannot fix anything. The speeds that I am paying for versus what I am getting is absolutely abysmal and Airtel should be ashamed to claim to be the best broadband provider. This same engineer tends to stall the work that needs to be done and keeps coming up with excuses.
3. I have called your helpline once and they were of absolutely zero help to me and this issue is still ongoing. I have made a financial commitment to Airtel and demand that the company fulfill their end of the bargain by giving me the service I have purchased as opposed to just blindly robbing me and then not resolving any issues I have with this service. This has happened on multiple occasions with the connection at issue. I will very happily leave Airtel and convince everyone I know to do the same should this not be resolved.
We all work hard for the money we pay to your company and often working from home is just not possible with such speeds. If I am unable to work, I am unable to earn and indirectly, Airtel is the cause of this. I am extremely upset and deeply angered by the behaviour shown by airtel and its employees regarding this matter. How is it that you have not been able to provide a service that i have PAID for in the space of one month? What have I paid you for? I could pay far less and enjoy better service, uninterrupted internet with the speeds I am promised from my previous provider.
