Text of Complaint by Kumar Saurabh:

For upgrading from copper line to fiber which was supposed to be updated automatically, I was advised, I need to purchase a new connection which I did once and got fiber line. Last month I have shifted my house and wanted to shift the connection and gave a request for the same on May 15, 2022. I had called several times to the customer service and everyone was misguiding as few of them said fiber is not available whereas some said its available. I got a call from sales executive who informed if I need a new fiber connection, this can be done on the same day whereas shifting isn’t possible. Just to keep you informed, the same thing happened in the previous residence where the technical engineer said if I want to buy a new one he can pull the wire from the other building and install the new modem but this cannot be done if I choose to upgrade. I visited the Airtel store and met a person named Nawaz on June 8, 2022 and gave another request for shifting the connection and told him the whole story. He called his manager and checked the feasibility and informed that Airtel Fiber line is available in my building and assured me that the installation will be done within 24 hours after confirming with the manager which never happened. I visited the store again and was informed by the same person that it will be done by June 14, 2022 which was not done. I contacted the Nodal team regarding this issue and informed them about the whole incident and by evening, I got a call from Airtel confirming that Airtel doesnt have service in this location. Upon informing the conversation I had with Nawaz in Airtel store regarding feasibility check, she disconnected stating she will have a word with him and get back. I am really struck with this issue as I have shifted to a new house last month and looking for a connection. I have even paid it to Jio who are unwilling to rectify the issue so had to give a disconnection request which is under process from 15 days

Airtel has left no option for me but to pay the installation charges for the third time as they have feasibility only for new connection but not for shifting request.
