Hi Team,

I have airtel broadband connection (xtream fibre) registered in my name Shreyas. I have been facing  internet downtime issue since Sunday evening (19/04/2020). I did register a complaint on the same day with the service request number being 116945314. I got informed through an SMS that a technician has been assigned and one Mr. Manjunath will be visiting my place on 20/04/2020 between 12-1:00 pm to rectify the issue. To be doubly sure I then called up customer care the same night to ensure my complaint is registered and an action would be taken from them. The next day nothing happened and nobody visited my house to resolve/check what the issue is. Post that II again called customer service to check why there was a delay and when would I receive a resolution. Post the call they assured me that the problem would be rectified at the earliest. The maximum time the problem would be rectified was stated as 22nd April 2020. I have been constantly following up with the customer care people and I am just being pushed one day after the other. On 21/04/2020 I spoke to …. and she gave an assurance that a technician will come today (22/04/2020) to look into the matter. Till now I have not received any  update nor has anybody turned up. Suddenly I recieve another SMS stating my request will be addressed by 26th April. A call to the customer care also did not help as that lady also told me that it’s taking time to get things resolved. They are also not informing me what the problem is, nor are they trying to help resolve the issue. I have not received any call back nor revert back to any my questions. The only answer I hear is that I need to wait and should co-operate keeping in mind the current lockdown situation. I do understand that these times are difficult for all of us but they should act responsible and help their customer. As a team they need to have a solid plan in place to resolve such issues. I work in a service industry and this trouble could cost the loss of my job as well.

 

Requesting any help whatsoever to get this sorted and also save my job.
