Dear Nodal Officer,
With extreme agony and pain I am compelled to lodge an official complaint against the AirTel services for the request I raised on 24th June for a broadband connection at my home in Salt Lake City Sector 2 Kolkata.
The prompt response from your sales team was very impressive not knowing the fact that it was only for me to pay 3 month rental of Rs. 3536/- on 25th June early morning 8:06 AM.
With all false promises that I’ll get 400MBPS lightning speed and the fibre box is next to my house only?
But to my surprise when all payments were made, message I received was that within 24 hours engineer would call to start the work but the whole day went in vain and nobody called or turned up??
It was again when I called Mr. Sudeep Chodhury sales team guy to know the whereabouts of my line man that I came to know that due to some technical issue the line would not be done on 25th but 26th??
If i wouldn’t have called nobody had bothered to inform me??
Fine next morning again I waited for the engineer to call when I received a call from some Bubai saying that when can we come to do the work on 26th? As it was urgent I again asked them to come at the earliest like the sales team came early morning at 730 to take money for no work??
Anyways as expected no one called even on 26th till 12 noon and again I started to call your guys to at least understand where are we on this???
I once again tried to console myself when I came to know the fact that since the box is 1000 meters away from my house and not just on the pole next to my house?? And the speed which was promised at the time of taking money which was 400 mbps will only be 24 mbps????
Pathetic! Simply Pathetic??
I dont even remember how many times I have asked Mr. Sudeep for giving me the contact details of his senior but he said that sir is very busy and can’t be disturbed but has asked me to either choose to go ahead with this 24mbps or cancel??
Amazing ? as if nothing wrong was done from Airtel it was my mistake that I paid, it was my mistake that am calling them and bothering the bosses??
Now sudeep started asking whether I need this connection or not?? But we customers having very less options had to bow down and ask to please give the router with whatever speed Airtel can.
Now the same evening engineer Bubai came to my house and threw the line very big task which he did that evening.
But when I returned home from my work expecting that today ill be able to work on the airtel Xstream high speed broadband i was again taken aback to see that there was only the line and no router ??
I would one day seriously would like to meet your training department who train them on etiquette and soft skills.
At least bubai could have called me when he didn’t gave me the router for god knows what reason he had????
Am really sick n tired of this bull shit what Airtel is doing and would be posting the complete ordeal on twitter and Facebook if i do not get this thing resolved by Monday, 29th June 2020.

Same thing happening with me. I am from new town. I am waiting for 3 months and they are promising ‘tomorrow you will surely get connection’. Bu in reality that tomorrow never came. False promises. I am bound to take airtel as jio is unavailable.
