Text of Complaint by Ashish Kumar Gupta:

I ordered the above earbuds from Amazon on 16th of July 2021. Order Number order #405-5478396-3311502.

I got confirmation that these will be delivered with a few books which had also been ordered on the 18th around 18-19 in the evening. One getting the delivery I noted with the delivery person that the Bose headsets were not in the delivery. In fact the delivery guy was confused as he had another packet with the same order number – but he could not enter some code in the system – he talked to a superior who asked him to return with the additional package he had. I told him clearly that your delivery says you are delivering the Bose earbuds which is the costliest item in this delivery and its missing – he said don’t worry – amazon will take care if its a issue.

once the delivery person left i immediately contested the delivery by contacting Amazon and telling this call center that the Bose earbuds were missing – but I could see the invoice in the box which had the 2 books they sent the order with – I was told to upload the invoice which I did and then I was told that I need to wait 3 to 5 days as a senior team will investigate and call me to solve the problem.

I chased Amazon again in 4 days and the call center agent told me that someone did try to reach you but you haven’t picked the call – so its your problem and this specialist team will try again in 3 to 5 days. I had a long session with the leader of the call center team who promised to keep an eye and help solve the issue.

Since then I have heard NOTHING from Amazon or the call center or this specialist team. I again reached out to Amazon through their web help – and their web team has been replying that they have someone on high alert working on this case – but its been a month since this new team has been telling me I will have a feedback and resolution – but nothing has been forthcoming.

I believe this is a scam and Amazon is cheating here. The item is an expensive its worth Rs 26,900/- and I have had ZERO feedback from amazon on how they will solve this issue.

in desperation I am reaching out to the Consumer courts to help me recover this money from amazon – also amazon should be fined for damages for causing mental anguish caused to me.

I now don’t need the product as I have bought another earbud as my work was being impacted – but Amazon has been absolutely shocking ion its approach and behaviour on this complaint.
