I got an ad on Instagram which sold boAt headphones at an offer price of ₹285. When I clicked the link on the ad it redirected me to a website which looked like boAt’s official website and i purchased 2 earphones, and made the payment through Google pay about 2 hours ago. I received an email stating they my order has been confirmed and I will be receiving the shipping details soon, which I didn’t and that got me in doubt. The website hurries you to place the order saying that the offer expires in a few minutes displaying the countdown. I later found out on research that this is a fraud. Can something be done, would it be possible to get back the amount? The website is still active and running.
