Text of Complaint by Ashok Kumar:

Hello Spice jet team,

Good Morning !!

This is for your kind information and action that I Ashok Kumar was travelling to Portblair (PNR no. OFI1TA ) along with wife (Madhur Chaughan) and two kids ( Tanmay Kundhia and Gautam Kundhia) along with other two relatives (Mr. Vikas Vikas and Mrs. Fuli Devi) PNR no. M8EGQV were travelling from IGI T3 New Delhi to Portblair,
Please find attached herewith the copy of flight ticket invoice along with boarding pass/ Rt-pcr reports and pics of damaged baggage. Here are some bullet points of troubles that we faced while travelling.
At the time of baggage check in on 14th Oct 2021 spice jet Airlines not transferred the baggage directly to final destination, Although we requested them to transfer the baggages directly to Portblair but they did not listen and transferred the baggages to Chennai, However Baggages of our other colleagues were directly sent to Portblair ( Baggages of Mr. Ravi Kumar Gautam and Ms. Lalita were directly transferred to Portblair) If there is a system defined by Spice jet Airlines then why should they bypass the system.
Even the major protocol of verifying the 48 hours RTPCR (Covd-19) report was not followed at IGI, Terminal-3 Airport , Our connecting flight was from Chennai Airport , at the time of boarding Spicejet asked for RTPCR reports and not allowed us to board in the flight and said that we don’t have the valid reports , the reports get expired about 20 hrs before, If the reports were not valid then why should spicejet allowed to board from Delhi airport. The message which we received from spicejet was clearly explain that RTPCR test get done before 48 hrs. It is not mentioned anywhere about the 48 Hours requirement for the sample collection time will be considered.
There are a total of 4 people against PNR no. OFI1TA and two people against PNR no. M8EGQV were travelling by Spice jet SG 266 Airbus. We all had valid Rt-pcr report ,the test was done on 13/10/2021 and the same was shown to travel agents also Spice jet Airline and take the confirmation as its valid report. But at the time of boarding Mr.Manoj (duty incharge) allowed my wife (Mrs. Madhur Chauhan and my younger son (Gautam Kundhia) age 7 yrs, boarded the flight, but he didn’t allow me (Ashok Kumar) and my elder son ( Tanmay Kundhia) age 13 years. He said that Rt-pcr reports are not valid because the sample given time will be considered by the Andaman govt. Which is not mentioned anywhere in the message . I also contacted spice jet Customer care they said that don’t worry. This report will be considered.
We requested Several times to.Duty incharge but he denied every time.He demands 5000/- Rs. Per person then after he will be allowed to board the flight.
We requested him continuously but he refused our request and asked for a bribe. He also said that this is spice jet protocol and we can’t allow you.If there is some protocol in spicejet Airlines and why should he allow my wife (Madhur Chauhan) and my younger son Gautam Kundhia age 7 years?
He was not checking the Rt-pcr report of other people (Mr. Ravi Kumar Gautam and his wife Lalita didn’t have an Rt-pcr report then why should he allow them)
PNR no. OFI1TA Flight no. SG608 timing 7:00am seat no. 10E Ashok Kumar and 11F Tanmay Kundhia are not allowed to board.
PNR no. M8EGQV Flight no. SG 608 timing 7:00am seat no. 9A Mr.Vikas Vikas and 9B Mrs. Fuli Devi is not allowed to board.
We took another Indigo flight for Portblair which cost an extra amount of Rs. 85836/ and 3600/- Rs. for Rt-pcr reports. It tooks a lot of effort, fatigue and a very long time (27 Hours extra time) to reach our final destination. We were mentaly , physically and financially harassed by Spicejet Airlines.
There was no system at port blair to cross verify the last Rt-pcr report, nobody was checking the Rt-pcr at Port blair, We all 4 again one through the Rt-pcr test at Port blair Airport. The Rt-pcr test we did at Portblair on 16th Oct 2021, The record for the same was not evident in the Govt record. If the government is unable to share the Rt-Pcr report then why should passengers be stopped at Chennai. This is complete system failure. We did not receive the reports for the same. Actually they misplaced the record in their system, After forcing them for the RTPCR report they handed over a paper with the same age and stamp. Again which does not bypass the system. If there is no verification of RTPCR and again a test in which we did not receive the reports. It shows the people are unnecessarily harassed by the Govt.
Once I reached Hotel I came to know that my baggage was damaged during transferring. As I was not allowed to board the flight, my wife and younger son were loanly and disappointed and she didn’t know about the baggage claim process.
It was really a very bad experience along with Spice jet Airlines, We are physically, mentally and financially harassed by Spicejet duty incharge. We are travelling along with a small kid age 13+ and with our old mother Mrs. Fuli devi. It took 27 + Hrs to reach port blair . It was a really very bad experience with spicejet.

It is requested that you look into the matter and take immediate action as mentioned above issues, otherwise I will go to the Consumer forum for justice.

Thanks and Regards
Ashok Kumar

Hello Spicejet Team,

Good Afternoon !!

Please find attached herewith the copy of RTPCR report of all passengers who were travelling to portblair.
We all were having the same date and time Rtpcr report, but spicejet duty incharge (Mr. Manoj) allowed my wife and my son to travel in the flight.
But he did not allow me and my 2nd child, however the rt pcr reports were the same.
He was asking for some bribe, as we did not give the bribe to him he did not allow us.

About my baggage , how can you say that you are not responsible after checking out from the airport.
As my wife was mentally disturb because half of the family members had left at Chennai Airport, she was not in the condition to register the complaint at the same time.
It is my humble request that please look into the matter and resolve the matter as soon as possible.

Waiting for your positive and fast response.

Thanks and Regards
Ashok Kumar
