Airtel has been trying to force me to use Airtel Money in various ways. Two months back my payment was not reflected even after 10 days of payment and money deduction from account. My outgoing calls and internet services were barred and then when I spoke to the customer care representative he suggested I use Airtel money for faster payment. After I refused they started my services within hours and the next day sent me a confirmation of receipt of payment also. Now in the month of April they without any intimidation they barred my internet services, when I call the customer care they tell me that my February bill is due. I paid every months bill before the due date. When I said that, they claimed the money has been returned to my account on the 19th of April itself and that I should check with my bank. I checked my account, no such money had been returned. Now although they have started my services, I have been getting calls to pay or else my services will soon be stopped. I have provided my bank statement and transaction details but they have not replied back. I am getting weird emails with random receipts of payments for the month of April and February but then again I am getting calls to make the payment. I don’t know what else to do.
While I spoke to the customer care person everytime they say I should use Airtel money. They cannot force me to use a service that I do not require.
