I register on Quickr.com for job search. I got a call from a girl named Khushi Patel. She offered work from home based job. I agreed to do the job. My address proofs are from Punjab. So they told me that Punjab vacancy has already been full. So I gave them my wife’s documents as we are living in ghaziabad currently. I submitted every document electronically. They put those documents into an agreement. When I was about to start the work. The company website was showing an alert msg that the website has detected as a phishing software. I did not find it right. So did not even login once to start the work. I called that girl Khushi Patel again and for the company documents and authentication proofs. She disconnected the call and then never called me back. Yesterday on 21/01/2022 I got a call from Mahender Prajapati who said he is advocate from the Aurangabad district courts. He said that company is going to lodge the FIR on your wife’s name that u have not finished their job in time. He said he has the agreement and call recording of my wife. Then he said to pay the registration charges to the company. I paid 5560 rs to the company. After that I got a mail from the advocate regarding the charges to collect the NOC. He was asking 26964 rs to clear the NOC. I called the company again and they said that I should pay the charges and after that the company will refund the 80% to 90% amount of NOC charges. In the mean while the advocate was callinge again and again. After few minutes I got another mail containing the FIR copy mentioning that NOC is declined and I have to pay the challan amount of 72540 rs at district courts Aurangabad. This is direct blackmailing and harassment . Please help me as I am undergoing immense mental pressure.
